The Happiness Sum

An interactive game Inspired by Jeremy Bentham’s Felicific Calculus (1700s) What brings us happiness and how much? Participants write their activity on a UV acrylic tile, then move through the installation answering the questions until they have a happiness score for their activity. All the responses are displayed together on a tower that lights up their tiles. We had over 200 visitors per hour playing during LightNightLeeds it was a spectacle to behold, all discussing what makes them happy!
